Під час бою з українським боксером Ігорем Цимбалюком нігерієць Майкл Ігвегбе висловив підтримку Україні, вдягнувши шкарпетки з логотипом ЗСУ. Про це повідомляє Top Boxing Generation.

Після завершення поєдинку спортсмен оголосив про намір переказати частину свого гонорару для допомоги українським військовим.
