У керівництві німецької ультраправої партії "Альтернатива для Німеччини" (AfD) стався розкол одразу після парламентських виборів.

Так, у понеділок, 25 вересня, співголова партії Фрауке Петрі на прес-конференції, присвяченій підсумкам парламентських виборів, несподівано заявила, що не має наміру входити до складу фракції в бундестазі нового скликання.

Петрі демонстративно покинула прес-конференцію, в якій також брали участь інші лідери передвиборчого партійного списку "Альтернативи для Німеччини" Аліс Вайдель і Александер Гауланд.

Петрі сказала, що вже кілька місяців у керівництві партії не припиняється боротьба за владу та зазначила, що ці розбіжності не можна замовчувати.

Своє рішення Петрі не погодила з колегами по партії. Присутній на прес-конференції співголова Йорг Мийте назвав її заяву "вибухом бомби, про яку він нічого не знав".
