45-річний лікар Арнольд Дреге — власник приватної практики у селі Верльте у федеральній землі Нижня Саксонія. На знак солідарності з протестами фермерів він оголосив на тиждень з 8 по 15 січня особливу акцію «проти бездумної політики уряду»: лікар лікуватиме лише тих, хто проти правлячої в Німеччині «світлофорної» коаліції. Віце-президент Асоціації стоматологів Нижньої Саксонії доктор Лутц Ріфеншталь підтвердив, що Дреге має право на це: «У Німеччині немає загального зобов'язання лікувати. Але у разі загострення, надзвичайної ситуації чи болю пацієнтові не можуть відмовити».
«Ми, стоматологи, перебуваємо у схожій ситуації [з фермерами]. Наша чаша терпіння також переповнена! Це стосується всіх лікарів системи охорони здоров'я та лікарень. Просто наші колеги завжди дуже тихі», — заявив Дрьоґе для BILD. За його словами, він отримує багато позитивних відгуків на акцію, але водночас образи і навіть погрози.
