Згідно з опитуванням Європейської ради з питань міжнародних відносин, дві третини респондентів-громадян ЄС вважають Росію противником своїх держав у 2023 році. Про це свідчать результати опитування від Європейської ради з питань міжнародних відносин, передають Politico.

Росія широко розглядається європейцями як "супротивник" або "суперник", в той час, як ЄС сприймається як сильніший, ніж до початку повномасштабного вторгнення РФ. У середньому дві третини опитаних у 10 європейських країнах вважають Росію суперником своєї країни, тоді як 40% бачать її слабшою, ніж до вторгнення в Україну.

Позиція "ворога" була найсильнішою в Данії (82%), за нею йдуть Естонія і Польща (обидві - 79%), Великобританія (77%), Німеччина (69%), Іспанія (65%), Франція (59%), Португалія (57%) та Італія (54%). У Румунії 44% заявили, що Росія є супротивником або конкурентом.

 

Політологи Іван Крастев і Марк Леонард, які написали звіт, стверджують, що за результатами опитування війна в Україні створила три блоки в Європі:  "північні та східні яструби" (Естонія, Польща, Данія та Велика Британія), де "більшість людей рішуче підтримують цілі Києва у війні"; "неоднозначний Захід", що складається з Франції, Німеччини, Іспанії та Португалії, де "думки розділилися щодо того, як має закінчитися війна".

І, нарешті, "слабкі південні ланки", Італія та Румунія, які хочуть, щоб війна закінчилася швидко, навіть якщо це призведе до територіальних втрат для України.
