Парламент Молдови затвердив у четвер програму і склад нового уряду проєвропейської орієнтації. Цей уряд, який уже склав присягу, очолює прем’єр-міністр Валеріу Стрелец, заступник голови коаліційної Ліберал-демократичної партії і один із найбагатших підприємців країни, повідомляє Радіо Свобода.

За вотум довіри новому урядові проголосували 52 зі 101 депутата парламенту Молдови, представники трипартійної коаліції, Альянсу за європейську інтеграцію. Дві опозиційні партії – комуністів і соціалістів – були проти, а незалежні депутати утрималися.

Новий прем’єр назвав серед пріоритетів свого уряду боротьбу з корупцією, а також із економічною кризою. Він також пообіцяв зміцнювати відносини з Європейським союзом і йти шляхом приєднання Молдови до ЄС.

Новий уряд довелося створювати по тому, як подав у відставку попередній прем’єр Кирил Ґабурич разом із його урядом через звинувачення, що він підробив свої документи про освіту.

Політична криза навколо відставки попереднього уряду додалася до ще однієї, що пов’язана з викриттям про зникнення суми приблизно в один мільярд доларів – це десь 20 відсотків від річного валового внутрішнього продукту країни – з трьох молдовських банків у час напередодні парламентських виборів у листопаді 2014 року.
