Помер засновник і голова агентства «Інтерфакс-Україна» Олександр Мартиненко. Йому було 63 роки. Про це повідомило «Інтерфакс-Україна».
Олександр Мартиненко був заслуженим журналістом України з 2010 року, кавалером ордена «За заслуги» III ступеня (2022), ордена князя Ярослава Мудрого V ступеня (2020).
Олександр Мартиненко, 1960 р. н., закінчив економічний факультет Харківського державного університету, створив й очолив агентство «Інтерфакс-Україна» 1992 року. Також був заступником голови (1991) і консультантом (2001) Адміністрації президента України, прессекретарем президента України (1998-2001), секретарем Ради з питань інформаційної політики при президентові України (2001-2002), членом Національної ради з питань телебачення і радіомовлення (2002-2003).
