Усі депутати району Дандрам в Ірландії, які контролюють Орвелл-роуд, одноголосно проголосували за зміну назви дороги, на якій розміщено посольство росії, на «Дорогу незалежної України».

Як повідомляє Irish Times, ініціатива була надихнута країнами, у тому числі Албанією, які змінили назву вулиці, де розташовано російське посольство.

Це лише невеликий знак солідарності з народом України, просто щоб сказати, що міжнародний комітет з ними, ірландська спільнота також їх підтримує.

Наразі в управі заявили, що також хочуть отримати думку мешканців, яким надсилатимуть листування, щоб побачити, чи підтримають вони цю ініціативу.
