17 травня правоохоронці затримали бізнесмена Віталія Кропачова, власника каналу Ukrainе World News та цифрового київського провайдера ТОВ «Ера Продакшн». Інформацію про затримання підтвердили hromadske у Державному бюро розслідувань.

«Це правда. Тривають активні оперативні дії», — сказали в ДБР.

Причина затримання бізнесмена наразі невідома. Правоохоронці пообіцяли надати більше деталей згодом.

Технічний директор телеканалу Дмитро Скідан у коментарі «Детектор медіа» сказав: «Наразі обшуків а телеканалі не має. Але як це вплине на роботу каналу ще не знаю».

«Детектор медіа» звернувся за коментарем щодо того як затримання вплине на канал до ДБР. А також чекає на коментрр від генеральної продюсерки Ольги Гіржевої.
