Президент Румунії Клаус Йоганніс висунув Соріна Гриндяну на посаду прем'єр-міністра країни.

Про це повідомляє Mediafax.

"Президент Румунії Клаус Йоганніс підписав у п'ятницю, 30 грудня, указ про призначення Соріна Міхая Гриндяну кандидатом на посаду прем'єр-міністра, щоб попросити вотум довіри парламенту щодо програми і списку нового уряду", - повідомили в канцелярії президента.

Гриндяну є членом Соціал-демократичної партії Румунії, яка перемогла на виборах до парламенту країни 11 грудня. Очікується, що його кандидатуру парламент підтримає на початку січня 2017 року.

43-річний Гріндяну раніше займав посаду міністра телекомунікацій.

Нагадаємо, соціал-демократам довелося запропонувати нового кандидата після того, як президент Клаус Йоганніс відмовився затверджувати кандидатуру екс-міністра регіонального розвитку Севіль Шайдех.

У Румунії при владі в країні перебуває технократичний уряд, який було сформовано в 2015 році після відходу у відставку прем'єр-міністра Віктора Понти і його кабінету.

Як повідомлялося, екс-прем’єр Румунії Віктор Понта, якого звинувачували у корупції, подав у відставку на тлі масових протестів після пожежі в нічному клубі в Бухаресті, де загинули люди.
