У М'янмі противники військового перевороту написали протестні послання на великодніх яйцях, а також вийшли на вулиці багатотисячним натовпом.

Повідомляється, що в ході протестів військові застрелили як мінімум трьох осіб.

Протестувальники писали на великодніх яйцях гасла: “Весняна революція”, “Ми повинні перемогти” і “Забирайся, MAH” (йдеться про лідера хунти Мін Аунг Хлаінг).

Молодь роздавала яйця з посланнями протесту в одному з найбільших міст М’янми – Янгоні.

Натовпи мирних громадян виходили на вулиці вдень і вночі, попри криваві репресії та облави на лідерів активістів.

Асоціація допомоги політичним в’язням (AAPP), група активістів, яка спостерігає за втратами й арештами, повідомила, що число загиблих протестувальників станом на вечір суботи склало 557 осіб.

Як відомо, 1 лютого збройні сили М’янми захопили владу в результаті перевороту проти демократично обраного уряду Аунг Сан Су Чжі, яка була затримана разом з іншими лідерами її партії “Національна ліга за демократію (НЛД)”.
