Історію волонтера Ігоря Талалая, який майже три місяці провів у катівнях на окупованих Росією територіях України, розповів у форматі коміксу пулітцерівський лауреат Ентоні Дель Коль.
 

Комікс під назвою «88 днів пекла» (88 Days of Hell) опублікувало видання The Insider. 

«Ігор Талалай — волонтер із Дніпра, який на початку повномасштабного вторгнення евакуйовував людей із Маріуполя. 18 березня 2022 року росіяни затримали чоловіка на блокпості і доправили на "фільтрацію". Упродовж майже трьох місяців Ігоря переводили з одного місця утримання до іншого на окупованій частині Донеччини, зокрема — до колонії в Оленівці. За цей час Ігор пережив допити, побиття, голод, залякування», — інформує «Медійна ініціатива за права людини», що задокументувала історію Ігоря після його повернення. 

Цією історією зацікавився Ентоні Дель Коль — американський автор, який отримав Пулітцерівську премію за комікс про жінку, що втекла з китайського табору для уйгурів. Він записав інтерв’ю з Ігорем і разом із командою перетворив цей матеріал на комікс.

Медійна ініціатива за права людини (МІПЛ) — українська неурядова організація, започаткована у вересні 2016 року. Мета організації — поєднати інформування, аналітику та адвокаційні активності для виявлення та реагування на порушення прав людини в умовах російської збройної агресії проти України. МІПЛ є учасницею коаліції «Україна. 5 ранку».
