Українська редакція «Радіо Свобода» скорочує мовлення і частину співробітників відправляє в простій. Через обмежені кошти «Радіо Свобода» також суттєво скоротило співпрацю з фрілансерами.

Українська редакція оголосила про зміну формату через фінансові труднощі. Частину співробітників у Києві та Львові відправлено у відпустку за власний рахунок.

Директорка редакції Мар’яна Драч пояснила, що це вимушений крок на тлі судової боротьби за відновлення фінансування з боку Конгресу США.

 У березні «Радіо Свобода» призупинило подкасти «Діалоги з Портниковим» й «Історичну Свободу», в яких брали участь позаштатні автори Віталій Портников і Дмитро Шурхало.

Разом із тим «Радіо Свобода» продовжує висвітлювати події на фронті, доносить інформацію жителям в окупації в рамках проєктів «Крим.Реалії» і «Донбас.Реалії», проводить журналістські розслідування у проєкті «Схеми», щовечора в будні аналізує події в інформаційно-аналітичній програмі «Свобода Live».
