Rakuten Viber опублікував статистику з блокування телефонних шахраїв в Україні у 2023 році. Кількість повідомлень про шахрайство знизилася в декілька разів. Однією з ключових додаткових функцій для захисту, яка вплинула на зниження, є «Ідентифікація абонентів».

У 2022 році  Rakuten Viber заблокував в Україні 130 000 акаунтів телефонних шахраїв та спамерів. У 2023 кількість спаму зменшилась до 37 000 завдяки вдосконаленню внутрішніх інструментів для поведінкової оцінки та ШІ. 

Загальна кількість користувачів, які повідомляли про телефонний спам або шахрайство у 2023 році, склала близько 60 000. Це майже вп’ятеро менше, ніж попереднього 2022 року. 

У 2023 році близько 450 000 українців отримали дзвінки від спамерів або шахраїв. Це в 3,6 раза менше, ніж минулого, 2022 року.

Система антиспаму Viber блокує облікові записи, які розпізнає як шахрайські на основі різноманітних факторів, зокрема поведінкових. Минулої осені зʼявилася в Україні функція «Ідентифікація абонентів», яка допомагає користувачам ідентифікувати вхідні дзвінки від невідомих абонентів і попереджає про ймовірний спам та шахрайство. Користувачі можуть позначати вхідні виклики як спам після завершення дзвінку, допомагаючи Viber підвищити рівень захисту.

Нагадуємо, окрім «Ідентифікації абонентів», є інші функції для приватності та безпеки у Viber:

  • керування запитами на повідомлення від незнайомих номерів у окремій папці (меню Параметри -> Конфіденційність);
  • увімкнення автоматичної перевірки на спам (меню Параметри -> Конфіденційність);
  • за потреби можна налаштувати додавання в групи та обмежити додавання лише контактами з телефонної книги (меню Параметри -> Конфіденційність);
  • увімкнення функції ідентифікації абонентів на Android (меню Параметри -> Дзвінки і повідомлення).
