Японські інженери із Токійського університету розробили робота-гуманоїда Musashi та навчили його керувати електромобілем. Андроїд може бачити дорогу та зображення у дзеркалах заднього виду, а кермує завдяки спеціальному опорно-руховому апарату. Про це повідомляє TechCrunch. 

Musashi уміє заводити машину, обертаючи ключ від автомобіля; використовувати ручне гальмо; вмикати покажчики повороту; натискати на педалі газу або гальма. 

Очами йому служать дві камери, а на “ногах” він має підошви, які не сковзають із педалей. Також робот має ряд датчиків

Musashi зміг виконати поворот автомобіля, керуючись показами світлофора. Проте вправляється із автомобілем він поки що набагато повільніше за людину. Так, виконання повороту зайняло дві хвилини.

Також він натискав на газ, але при зміні кута нахилу дороги йому було складно підтримувати постійно швидкість.

Тож розробники продовжують далі працювати та вдосконалювати андроїда.
