Бажання Алена Делона, щоб його 10-річний собака на ім’я Лубо був приспаний і похований разом з ним, було відхилено його дітьми після обурення захисників тварин. Пише Guardian.

Я люблю його, як дитину.  У моєму житті було 50 собак, але з цією у мене особливі стосунки. Він сумує за мною, коли мене немає,- сказав Делон Paris Match у 2018 році.

Він додав: "Якщо я помру раніше за нього, я попрошу ветеринара забрати нас разом. Він приспить його на моїх руках. Я краще зроблю це, ніж знати, що він помиратиме на моїй могилі з такими стражданнями.Після цього інтерв’ю асоціація тварин «30 мільйонів друзів» засудила те, що вона назвала «зручною» евтаназією абсолютно здорової собаки."

Після смерті Делона Фонд Бріжит Бардо, який опікується правами тварин, заявив, що донька актора Анушка підтвердила, що родина залишить собаку.
