Microsoft виявила російську відеодезінформацію з використанням штучного інтелекту, спрямованої проти Олімпійських ігор у Парижі.
Як пише The Guardian, авторами псевдодокументального фільму "Падіння Олімпіади" (назва схожа на "Падіння Олімпа" з Джерардом Батлером) є росіяни. При створенні фільму використали дипфейк Тома Круза, а в самому "фільмі" стверджується, нібито його було знято Netflix з високим рейтингом від міжнародних оглядачів.
Microsoft заявила, що мережа пов’язаних з Росією груп проводить «кампанії зловмисного впливу» проти Франції, Еммануеля Макрона, Міжнародного олімпійського комітету (МОК) і Паризьких ігор.
У фейковому відео МОК і Францію критикують за відсторонення Росії від участі в Олімпійських іграх 2024 року. Фахівці з безпеки серед можливих авторів фейку називають групу "Шторм-1679", яка раніше використовувала дипфейки американських зірок для антиукраїнської пропаганди.
