 Литовська прокуратура звинуватила російську військову розвідку ГРУ в організації підпалу магазину IKEA у Вільнюсі у травні 2024 року,  - Reuters

За словами прокурора Артураса Урбеліса, розслідування виявило складну багаторівневу схему із залученням понад 20 посередників, що вела до російських спецслужб. За його словами, магазин був обраний цілеспрямовано через символічне значення – синьо-жовті кольори логотипу IKEA збігаються з прапором України, а сама компанія припинила роботу в росії після її вторгнення.  

Через три дні після підпалу у Вільнюсі масштабна пожежа знищила торговий центр Marywilska 44 у Варшаві. Польща також підозрює росію в організації атаки. Прем'єр-міністр Дональд Туск заявив, що результати литовського розслідування лише підтвердили польські підозри про причетність російських спецслужб до серії підпалів у Європі.
