Тіло журналіста знайшли під завалами після 19 годин пошуків. Серед поранених – четверо репортерів: громадяни США, Німеччини, Латвії та України. А також дві місцеві мешканки. На місці російської ракетної атаки працювали поліція, рятувальники та інші служби. Про це повідомили у Нацполіції
Внаслідок російського ракетного удару по Краматорську було частково зруйновано будівлю готелю. Люди опинились під завалами. Всю ніч і день тривала пошуково-рятувальна операція. Станом на 18:35 тіло 40-річного британця було деблоковано працівниками ДСНС.
Через обстріл Краматорська постраждала польська журналістка Моніка Андрушевська, котра проїжджала на авто поруч з місцем ракетного удару.
"Моя перша особиста кров пролита за Україну - якраз на День незалежності. Після 10 років війни. "Іскандер" поруч зі мною… Ти просто їздиш по місту. Просто живеш. Просто дихаєш. Цього достатньо, щоб росіяни спробували тебе вбити", - написала вона у соцмережах.
