Зазначається, що цього фільму однаково соромляться як російські пропагандисти, так і сервіси Яндекса. А "Кінопошук" приховав його рейтинг. Оцінок цьому фільму на російському сайті наставили близько 4 тис. Очевидно, що цим займалися пропагандистські боти. Позаяк на популярному сайті IMDb "Свідок" отримав рейтинг 1,6 і увійшов до числа найгірших фільмів в історії людства.
Зазначимо, що фільм підтриманий міністерством культури та оборони країни-агресора. Він розповідає історію скрипаля з Бельгії Даніеля Коена, який приїхав на гастролі до Києва наприкінці лютого 2022 року. Та став свідком "нелюдських злочинів українських військових".
