Роскомнадзор пригрозил сайту Reddit включением одной из страниц ресурса в реестр запрещенной информации.

По данным ведомства, на сайте размещена статья о выращивании наркосодержащих растений, что противоречит российскому законодательству, сообщает ВВС

В Роскомнадзоре утверждают, что неоднократно направляли в адрес администрации ресурса уведомление с требованием удалить запрещенную информацию, однако до сих пор никакой реакции не последовало.

"Мы допускаем, что в период августовских отпусков кто-то слишком расслабился, но это не должно являться причиной, чтобы рисковать читательской аудиторией", - заявили в пресс-службе ведомства, посоветовав читателям обратиться к администрации с просьбой проверить почту, "иначе из-за технических особенностей ряд операторов может заблокировать весь сайт".

Ресурс Reddit был основан в 2005 году. Зарегистрированные на сайте пользователи могут размещать ссылки на понравившуюся им информацию в интернете и голосовать за сообщения друг друга.

На главной странице сайта появляются сообщения, набравшие наибольшее число голосов.
