Комитет по вопросам свободы слова и информации рекомендует парламенту принять за основу и в целом проект постановления о временном приостановлении аккредитации журналистов и технических работников некоторых средств массовой информации Российской Федерации при органах власти.

Проект №4109а предлагает временно приостановить аккредитацию журналистов и технических работников некоторых средств массовой информации Российской Федерации при органах власти. В ходе обсуждения отмечалось, что целью проекта постановления «является сохранение национальной безопасности Украины, предупреждение информационной угрозы и защита прав граждан на информацию».
Члены комитета также акцентировали внимание на том, что Национальный совет по вопросам телевидения и радиовещания обратился в Окружной административный суд города Киев с иском о признании не соответствующей законам Украины и Европейской конвенции о трансграничном телевидении деятельности иностранных каналов: «Первый канал. Всемирная сеть», «РТР-планета», «Россия-24», «НТВ-мир» - и попросил суд принять решение о временном запрете ретрансляции указанных программ в многоканальных сетях на территории Украины.
