Французький модний дім Saint Laurent вирішив зайнятися виробництвом фільмів, заснувавши для цього окрему дочірню продакшн-компанію. Це перший подібний випадок в в індустрії моди, коли модний дім не просто спонсорує виробництво, а запускає власне кіновиробництво.

Наступного місяця Saint Laurent Productions дебютує на Каннському кінофестивалі з двома короткометражними фільмами в офіційній програмі: «Дивний спосіб життя» Педро Альмодовара та ще одна стрічка, про яку буде оголошено пізніше.

Фільми продаватимуться на кінофестивалях звичайним дистриб’юторам, зокрема кінотеатрам, стрімінговим платформам і мережам мовлення, а також отримуватимуть вигоду від промоційних заходів, що супроводжують релізи.
