Сенат Конгресу США проголосував за законопроєкт, який містить вимогу до китайського концерну ByteDance протягом пів року продати соцмережу TikTok, інакше застосунок заборонять на території США.  Про це повідомляє CNN.

В іншій частині документа міститься дозвіл на використання заморожених активів Росії для допомоги Україні. 

Законопроєкт пропонує:

  1. Запровадити санкції проти портів і нафтопереробних заводів, які приймають і переробляють іранську нафту.
  2. Запровадити санкції проти будь-кого, хто причетний до діяльності, яка підпадає під ракетне ембарго ООН щодо Ірану, яке закінчилося минулого року, або до постачання чи продажу іранських ракет і безпілотників.
  3. Подальше обмеження експорту товарів і технологій американського походження до Ірану.
  4. Надати виконавчій владі повноваження вилучати й передавати Україні заморожені російські активи, які зберігаються у США.
  5. Надати китайській материнській компанії TikTok, ByteDance, дев’ять місяців на продаж соціальної медіакомпанії, інакше її заборонять у магазинах застосунків у США.
