НБУ ініціює зміну назви української розмінної монети.

 Як йдеться на сайті НБУ, перейменування відбудеться для відновлення історичної справедливості, сприяння дерусифікації та відродженню національних традицій у грошовому обігу України.

"Дослідивши історію грошового обігу України, ми дійшли беззаперечного висновку, що така назва для розмінної монети як "копійка" фактично є символом московської окупації. Сьогодні український народ повертає собі все, що було несправедливо в нього вкрадене та понівечене кремлівськими наративами. Саме час відновити справедливість і для грошової системи, очистити монетарний суверенітет від щонайменшої спорідненості з будь-чим московським. Ми маємо своє, питомо українське, слово для визначення дрібних монет – це слово "шаг",
