Телеведучий Савік Шустер визнав, що бізнесмен Ринат Ахметов був на святкуванні його дня народження у Вільнюсі, куди запросили і колишніх топпосадовців України. Журналісти писали, що там могли обговорювати майбутні вибори, але Шустер це заперечує. Про це телеведучий сказав в етері програми «Свобода слова Савіка Шустера».

У програмі Шустера заявили, що відео святкувань журналістам «Української правди» нібито передали з Офісу президента.

Окрім того, там наголосили, що Савік Шустер вже другий рік судиться з виданням через інший матеріал ㅡ інтерв'ю з Ігорем Коломойським, де той заявив, що нібито за участь у програмі Шустера посадовці платили гроші.

«Свобода слова Савіка Шустера» також звинуватила «Українську правду» у «підіграванні нинішній владі».

Головний редактор видання «Цензор.нет» Юрій Бутусов в етері програми запитав у телеведучого, то чи був Ринат Ахметов на його святі та чи обговорював він там спробу державного перевороту, про що говорив президент Володимир Зеленський.

На що Шустер відповів: «Ну, прилетіла людина, привітала. Ну і все. Який державний переворот? Хто говорив про політику? Я зі своїми дітьми буду це обговорювати? Чи з литовськими парламентарями? Це чиста маніпуляція».

Шустер заявив, що вже звернувся до Нацполіції України та литовських парламентарів, щоб з'ясувати, хто фільмував його та його гостей.
