Депутат польської партії «Конфедерація» Гжегож Браун під час засідання Сейму схопив вогнегасника і загасив ханукальні свічки — їх традиційно запалюють у Сеймі на велике єврейське свято Ханука. Відео є на нашому телеграм-каналі

Як стверджується, депутат вигукував антисемітські гасла. 

Охорона будівлі наказала евакуювати людей через задимлення. Пізніше маршал (спікер) польського Сейму Шимон Головня усунув Брауна від засідання та наказав йому залишити будівлю Сейму.

"Це грубість, агресія та дурість. Нічого подібного тут не відбувалося вже давно. І це ніколи більше не повториться", - сказав Головня.

1 червня він зірвав виступ вченого з Канади про Голокост. Захід проходив у Німецькому історичному інституті. Поліція нічого не могла вдіяти.

У липні минулого року Брауна хотіли позбавити імунітету через його демонстративну відмову від дотримання правил, запроваджених у зв’язку з пандемією коронавірусу - депутат відмовлявся носити маску у громадських місцях.

Коли Сейм Польщі ухвалив резолюцію, в якій засудив Росію та закликав ЄС разом із країнами НАТО надати підтримку Україні на тлі російського вторгнення. Проти цієї резолюції проголосував лише Браун.

Раніше його партія також випустила брошуру із закликом "зупинити українізацію Польщі". Крім того, Браун є частим героєм матеріалів у російських ЗМІ.
