Соцмережа X запустила можливість редагувати свої повідомлення для користувачів iOS. 

Один із інженерів компанії опублікував повідомлення про запуск і сказав, що функція редагування повідомлень незабаром буде доступна на більшій кількості платформ.

Щоб скористатись функцією, потрібно:

  • відкрити будь-який чат прямих повідомлень у застосунку X для iOS;
  • утримати будь-яке надіслане повідомлення або торкнутись меню з трьома крапками поруч із повідомленням;
  • обрати опцію «Редагувати повідомлення», щоб змінити його.

Для редагування повідомлень немає обмежень у часі. Під час тестування виявилено, що користувачі також можуть редагувати старіші повідомлення на платформі. Однак загалом можна зробити лише п’ять редагувань. Соціальна мережа застосовує такий самий ліміт на редагування дописів.

Користувачі очікують, що зможуть редагувати свої повідомлення в застосунках для обміну повідомленнями, оскільки інші чати, такі як WhatsApp, Telegram, Signal і Messenger, вже давно мають цю функцію. Apple також додала можливість редагувати повідомлення, надіслані через iMessage в iOS 16.
