Народні депутати обрали Руслана Стефанчука головою Верховної Ради замість відкликаного напередодні з цієї посади Дмитра Разумкова.

 Призначення першого віце-спікера Стефанчука спікером підтримав 261 нардеп.

 
 
 

Під час рейтингового голосування перед остаточним кандидатуру Руслана Стефанчука підтримали 257 депутатів, кандидатуру Олексія Гончаренка – 44 депутати, кандидатуру Яни Зінкевич – 146 депутатів. 

Голосували за кандидатуру, яка за рейтинговим голосуванням набрала найбільше голосів.

Стефанчук подякував за довіру і перебрав у віце-спікера Олени Кондратюк головування на засіданні.
