Печерський районний суд Києва у середу, 19 січня, обрав запобіжний захід колишньому президенту України Петру Порошенку. П'ятого президента відпустили із зали суду під особисте зобов'язання.

Про це стало відомо із засідання суду. 

Сторона обвинувачення клопотала про запобіжний захід у вигляді двомісячного арешту з альтернативою внесення застави у мільярд гривень, зобов'язання здати паспорти та носити електронний браслет.

П'ятого президента підозрюють у держзраді та сприянні терористичним організаціям у справі про незаконне постачання вугілля з окупованих територій. Його спільником у цій справі слідчі вважають проросійського політика, нардепа від "ОПЗЖ" Віктора Медведчука.
