Подільський районний суд Києва відкрив провадження  за позовом адвоката Києво-Печерської лаври протоієрея Микити Чекмана до 5 каналу про захист честі, гідності, ділової репутації та спростування недостовірної інформації. 

Раніше адвокат звернувся до суду у зв'язку з тим, що в сюжеті 5 каналу його називали  представником "московських попів, ексвласників Києво-Печерської лаври”.

"Впродовж усього відеозапису  мене, як адвоката, називають “представником московських попів, ексвласників Києво-Печерської Лаври”. Наголошую, що я, Чекман Микита Петрович, є представником Свято-Успенської Києво-Печерської Лаври/ Чоловічий монастир/Української Православної Церкви (УПЦ), що у цій справі є Відповідачем, але ніяк не "УПЦ мп". Дана інформація є недостовірною, поширеною з використанням неповних, перекручених відомостей, що несуть негативні асоціації – приналежність мене до певної неіснуючої структури ("мп")", – повідомив Микита Чекман.
