Міністерство цифрових технологій Тайваню заявило, що державним відомствам заборонено використовувати штучний інтелект (ШІ) китайського стартапу DeepSeek через ризики інформаційної безпеки.

Зазначається, що демократичний Тайвань давно насторожено ставиться до китайських технологій через територіальні претензії Пекіна та його політичний і військовий тиск на уряд у Тайбеї.

У заяві Міністерства цифрових технологій зазначено, що DeepSeek є китайським продуктом, що становить загрозу інформаційній безпеці. Його робота пов’язана з передачею даних за кордон, що створює ризики витоку інформації. Використання DeepSeek ставить під загрозу національну безпеку Тайваню.

Міністерство заявило, що продовжить стежити за розвитком технологій і коригуватиме політику кібербезпеки відповідно до нових викликів.

Південна Корея вже розпочала перевірку щодо управління персональними даними користувачів у DeepSeek.

Увагу до цього питання також приділяють регулятори Франції, Італії та Ірландії.

Попри критику, безкоштовний ШІ-асистент DeepSeek вже обігнав ChatGPT за кількістю завантажень у магазині додатків Apple.

У понеділок на тлі зростання DeepSeek глобальні інвестори масово розпродавали американські технокомпанії. Це призвело до рекордної разової втрати в $593 мільярди у вартості акцій компанії Nvidia – найбільшого виробника чіпів, що працює з ШІ.
