Російський державний телеканал «Россия-1» стежив за президентом Фінляндії Александером Стуббом під час його візиту на Аландські острови минулого тижня. Про це повідомило видання Yle.

Човен російської знімальної групи слідкував за судном Стубба «Kultaranta VIII». Окрім цього, за даними газети Ilta-Sanomat, росіяни знімали президента на площі Марієхамні.

Серед іншого в репортажі «Россия-1» обговорювалося, чому фіни хотіли б мілітаризувати острови.

Поліція безпеки SUPO та Міністерство закордонних справ Фінляндії вважають, що йдеться про спробу інформаційного впливу. На думку МЗС, Росія намагається вплинути на сприйняття Фінляндії та НАТО й зміцнити свій хибний наратив.

Телеканал «Россия-1» раніше внесли до санкційного списку Євросоюзу. Утім, як зауважили в МЗС Фінляндії, це не забороняє збирати інформацію чи брати інтерв'ю на території ЄС.

На думку головного наукового співробітника Інституту зовнішньої політики Чарлі Салоніус-Пастернака, човен, яким керував консул Росії на Аландських островах, мав бути зупинений.

«У цій ситуації, відповідно до потреб захисту президента було б доцільно зупинити цей чортів пропагандистський човен і перевірити його в митниці протягом кількох днів. Чи вистачило відваги в правоохоронців?» — написав він.
