Останні кілька днів користувачі платформи отримують сповіщення про нову програму. У повідомленнях йшлося про те, що вже опубліковані у TikTok фото-дописи зʼявляться у TikTok Notes. Водночас користувачі мають змогу вимкнути це налаштування, аби їхні публікації не потрапили до нового застосунку.
У коментарі TechCrunch представник TikTok підтвердив, що компанія працює над застосунком, який поки що недоступний: «У рамках нашої постійної відданості інноваціям у TikTok ми шукаємо способи надати нашій спільноті можливість створювати та ділитися своєю творчістю через фотографії та текст у спеціальному просторі для цих форматів».
