Українська правозахисниця Олена Шевченко стала «Жінкою року» за версію журналу TIME 

 Саме вона займалася захистом прав представників ЛГБТКІ+ і організовувала Марш жінок у Києві. За останні пять років через свою діяльність вона сім разів ставала жертвою нападів невідомих.

У виданні зазначають, що нині Шевченко — одна з найвпливовіших правозахисниць України.
