Сервіс для знайомств Tinder повідомив, що з 15 лютого перестане працювати у Білорусі. 

Після цієї дати користувачі з Білорусі не зможуть скористатися послугами Tinder або увійти у свій акаунт.

Компанія Match Group, яка володіє Tinder, також припинить у Білорусі роботу додатків Hinge і OkCupid.

Як повідомляє Білоруська служба Радіо Свобода, у Білорусі силовики використовували Tinder, щоб під виглядом знайомства виявляти людей, які виходили на протести проти Олександра Лукашенка. Відомо про кілька випадків вироків, коли справа починалася саме з інформації і листування в Tinder.
 

Із Росії Tinder пішов у червні 2023 року. Match Group пояснювала своє рішення «відданістю захисту прав людини». Після повномасштабного російського вторгнення в Україну Tinder обмежив доступ до своїх послуг у Росії.

У березні 2023 року керівництво компанії-акціонера Match Group заявляло, що «недобре для бренду з репутацією продовжувати працювати в країні, керівник якої звинувачений Міжнародним кримінальним судом».

Також після початку повномасштабного вторгнення в Україну із РФ пішли такі ресурси для знайомств як Badoo, Bumble, Fruitz і Feeld.
