Президент США Дональд Трамп закликав слідчих сфокусуватися на Гілларі Клінтон після того, як проти екс-керівника його виборчої кампанії було висунуто обвинувачення за 12 пунктами, у тому числі у змові проти Сполучених Штатів, пише Європейська правда

"Вибачте, але це було багато років тому, перш ніж Манафорт cтав частиною кампанії Трампа. Чому брехлива Гілларі та демократи не в центрі уваги?", - написав Трамп у своєму Twitter.

"Крім того, немає жодної ЗМОВИ!", - написав Трамп, маючи на увазі його імовірну змову з Росією задля отримання перемоги на президентських виборах 2016 року.

Нагадаємо, колишньому керівнику президентської кампанії Дональда Трампа Полу Манафорту та його колишньому бізнес-партнеру Ріку Гейтсу висунули звинувачення за 12 пунктами.

Манафорт у понеділок вранці  прибув до офісу ФБР у Вашингтоні разом зі своїм адвокатом.

Манафорт є однією з ключових фігур в розслідуванні втручання РФ в президентські вибори в США в минулому році.

У серпні 2016 року Трамп  прийняв відставку Манафорта. Це сталося, зокрема, після того, як українські правоохоронці підтвердили наявність його прізвища у документах, які, як припускається, описують багатомільйонні нелегальні виплати, які у 2007-2012 роках здійснювала Партія регіонів.
