Вони вважають, що компанія використовувала піратські копії їхніх творів, щоб навчити чатбот Claude генерувати тексти у відповідь на текстові запити користувачів.

Anthropic позиціонується як суспільно корисна компаніа, покликана покращити людство. Однак для власників творів, захищених авторським правом, Anthropic вже став причиною масове знищення. Не буде перебільшенням сказати, що модель Anthropic прагне отримати прибуток від розкопок людського вираження та винахідливості, що стоять за кожною з цих робіт, – заявили вони у позові.

Автори заявили, що Anthropic «створила багатомільярдний бізнес, викравши сотні тисяч книг, захищених авторським правом».

Вони вимагають відшкодування невизначеної суми грошових збитків та наказ компанії блокувати її продукти від неправомірного використання об’єктів авторського права.
