Міністерство фінансів США 21 листопада внесло в чорний список Газпромбанк – останній великий російський банк, який досі не перебував під обмеженнями.

Міністр енергетики Алпарслан Байрактар сказав журналістам, що без санкційного винятку "ми не зможемо платити Росії".

"Якщо ми не зможемо платити, ми не зможемо купувати товар", – відзначив міністр.

Він послався на попередні винятки з санкцій, пов'язаних з Іраном, як на прецедент.

"Якщо не буде винятку, це може означати щось дуже серйозне для Туреччини", – сказав Алпарслан Байрактар. 

За даними регулятора, Росія є найбільшим постачальником газу до Туреччини. Вона забезпечила близько 42% імпорту блакитного палива торік.

Окрім газу, Туреччина покладається на Росію в імпорті близько половини сирої нафти, має на стадії будівництва одну атомну електростанцію "Росатома" і веде переговори про будівництво другої.
