Twitter нарешті знову відновив спілкування з журналістами після кількох місяців мовчання з моменту придбання компанії Ілоном Маском.

Однак ЗМІ можуть не чекати змістовних відповідей про масові звільнення, зниження доходів від реклами, перебої в роботі та судові позови. Натомість Twitter надсилає автоматичні відповіді у вигляді одного смайлика після того, як Маск оголосив про нову політику 19 березня.

Після приходу Маска повідомлялося, що майже весь відділ комунікацій опинився серед тисяч звільнених працівників. Компанія дуже рідко відповідала на запити про коментарі протягом кількох місяців після початку звільнень.

Неясно, чи зміна комунікації Twitter є постійною. У відповідь на прохання Insider прокоментувати Twitter сказав:
