Пользователи, оставляющие угрозы и оскорбления, будут отслеживаться этическим комитетом.

В социальной сети Twitter запретят публиковать угрозы и оскорбления, а специальный этический комитет будет отслеживать неучтивых пользователей и рассматривать жалобы, передает The Guardian.

Такое нововведение станет реакцией Twitter на грядущий Международный день безопасности интернета.

Руководство Twitter официально сообщило, что открывает специальный отдел, где будут рассматриваться оскорбления и угрозы пользователей в сети, а также разрабатываться меры по урегулированию конфликтов.

Поскольку проблема киберугроз в последнее время стала одной из актуальнейших, Twitter решил не оставлять "на своей территории" неэтичных пользователей безнаказанными.

Известно, что социальную сеть уже критиковали ранее за отсутствие защитных мер в отношении пользователей. Однако для сети, в которой ежедневно публикуется порядка 500 миллионов твитов, обеспечение защиты будет задачей не из легких.

Ранее сообщалось, что руководство сервиса микроблогов Twitter заблокировало более 125 тысяч учетных записей пользователей в рамках кампании по борьбе с терроризмом.
