Оператор Суспільної студії та військовий Олексій Ольховик загинув 13 березня у місті Бахмут. Інформацію про загибель Суспільному підтвердила його дружина. У нього лишилась донька Єва, якій ще немає року.

"Наше перше відрядження на війну було у Бахмут у 2020 році. 13-го березня 2023 року ти загинув у цьому ж самому Бахмуті. Колись ти мені сказав, що якби я тебе не взяла з собою на війну в часи ООС, ти б напевно і не пішов би на війну повномасштабну. І, знаєш, я зараз не дуже рада, що взяла тебе з собою тоді", — написала колега Олексія журналістка Анастасія Жук.

 

Вона розповіла, що з початком повномасштабного вторгнення Олексій Ольховик долучився до 241-ї бригади тероборони міста Києва, але згодом його відправили на фронт на Донеччину. У вересні 2022 року Олексій Ольховик дістав мінно-вибухове поранення і близько місяця лікувався, а після одужання знову повернувся на фронт — до міста Бахмут.

За даними ІМІ, Олексій Ольховик став 49-м медійником, що загинув в Україні внаслідок російської збройної агресії. З них вісім – під час виконання журналістської діяльності, 41 загинули як учасники бойових дій або стали жертвами російських обстрілів не під час виконання журналістських обов'язків.
