«Телеграм співпрацює з російськими правоохоронними органами і поводить себе в рамках законодавства», — заявив депутат Держдуми РФ Артем Метелєв, відповідаючи на питання журналістів про можливість блокування цієї соцмережі в Росії. Про це повідомив ресурс Nexta.

«І адміністрація тeлеграму, і сам Павло Дуров (власник телеграму) завжди дуже швидко реагують — ми це бачимо просто — на події, співпрацюють з правоохоронними органами, у тому числі блокують заборонений контент», — заявив депутат.

На його думку, терористів радше вербували би не через телеграм, а через вотсап «або ще деінде». «Треба працювати над профілактикою, над алгоритмами, і я певен, що спецслужби цим опікуються», — пояснив Метелєв.

Варто зауважити, що Артем Метелєв позиціонує себе як лідер волонтерського руху РФ та є головою ради Асоціації волонтерських центрів Росії. 31-річний депутат Держдуми підтримує війну РФ проти України, через що проти нього запровадили персональні санкції США, Швейцарія, Австралія, Японія, Україна та ін.
