У середу, 20 квітня,  у тимчасово окупованому Херсоні  вбили місцевого колаборанта Валерія Кулешова, який співпрацював з проросійським блогером-колаборантом Кирилом Стремоусовим.

За даними джерел ІМІ в Херсонській області, Кулешова розстріляли біля його під'їзду в Шуменському мікрорайоні, коли той перебував в автомобілі. Сталося це приблизно о 8:15. 

Як зазначає регіональний представник ІМІ, Валерій Кулешов до 2015 року працював у міліції. Спочатку оперативником у Дніпровському райвідділку, а потім слідчим у Комсомольському. Мав статус учасника АТО.

Із 2016 року активно розвивав пабліки в соцмережах. У цей же період почав працювати з проросійським блогером Кирилом Стремоусовим. До 2019 року Кулешов і Стремоусов активно працювали в парі, влаштовуючи політичні провокації.

Влітку 2021 року Кирило Стремоусов та Валерій Кулешов разом погрожували місцевому журналісту Дмитру Багненку.

З початку широкомасштабного вторгнення Кулешов вів прямі трансляції з місць боїв.  Після захоплення російськими військами Херсона почав «волонтерську кар'єру», вибравши собі як штаб колишній офіс партії Ігоря Колихаєва «Нам тут жити».
