Внаслідок російської атаки у Херсоні 26 квітня загинув український продюсер італійської газети La Repubblica Богдан Бітік, який працював разом з кореспондентом газети Коррадо Дзуніно.  

 
Напередодні ми повідомляли, що у середу, 26 квітня, в Херсоні кореспондент італійської газети La Repubblica Коррадо Дзуніно був поранений унаслідок атаки російського безпілотника. Під час атаки журналіст перебував в автомобілі разом зі своїм фіксером. 
 
La Repubblica пише, що журналісти потрапили у засідку російських снайперів біля мосту. 
 
Обидва були у марковані як «преса» — за словами Коррадо, він був в бронежилеті з написом «Pressa». Водночас, як повідомляють джерела ІМІ у Збройних Силах України, українець не мав на собі бронежилета, а був одягнений лише в жилет з написом «Преса», в той час як італійський кореспондент був в бронежилеті.
