RT. com залишається недоступним в ЄС, але низка менш популярних дзеркальних сайтів надає той же контент, спрямований на підрив підтримки України з боку європейців.
За словами віцепрезидентки Єврокомісії Вери Йоурової, яка відповідає за протидію дезінформації, Європейська комісія знає про дзеркальні сайти і працює з країнами-членами над ефективним застосуванням санкцій.
