У Львові правоохоронці вранці 8 вересня прийшли з обшуком до мовознавця, громадського активіста й волонтера Святослава Літинського.

 "О, поліція таки прочитала, як посадити волонтерів. В мене обшук", - написав волонтер у Фейсбук.

 За словами Літинського, спершу йому сказали, що прийшли з повісткою, а коли відчинив – показали ухвалу про обшук. 

У коментарях волонтер додав, що викликав адвоката. 

Як з'ясувалося згодом, обшук у Літинського проводила поліція Києва у справі нібито привласнення донатів під виглядом благодійного фонду і продажу автівок, призначених для військовослужбовців.

Голова політради "Української галицької партії" Ростислав Коваль повідомив, що дружину Святослава Літинського під час обшуку забрала "швидка". 

Святослав Літинський був одним із кандидатів на мовного омбудсмена у 2020 році. Він відомий судовими справами за паспорт без дублювання російською мовою, маркування клавіатури українською на ноутбуках, переклад із російської на українську виступу президента Володимира Зеленського на ІForum у 2019 році.
