Кілька тисяч людей, представники неурядових організацій та прихильники опозиційних політичних сил беруть участь в акції протесту перед парламентом Молдови.

Учасники протестів вимагають скасувати законопроект про перехід Молдови від пропорційної до змішаної системи парламентських виборів.

"Це тільки початок наших протестів. Вони триватимуть доти, доки не буде скасовано законопроект про зміну виборчої системи", - заявив один з учасників акції, політолог Аркадие Барберошіє.

На думку більшості протестувальників, причиною зміни виборчої системи є прагнення Демократичної партії і Партії соціалістів зберегти свої позиції у владних структурах, в тому числі в парламенті.

Чергова акція протесту, як заявила одна з організаторів мітингу, лідер партії "Дія і солідарність", екс-кандидат в президенти Молдови Майя Санду, пройде 28 травня.

Раніше парламент Молдови прийняв в першому читанні законопроект про перехід від пропорційної (за партійними списками) до змішаної системи парламентських виборів. Подальше обговорення законопроекту в парламенті відбудеться після того, як документ пройде юридичну експертизу Венеціанської комісії.
