 Використання Telegram обмежать у Верховній Раді України за рекомендацією Ради національної безпеки і оборони України. Про це повідомив Голова Комітету з питань свободи слова Ярослав Юрчишин.

Заходи безпеки впроваджує впроваджені апаратом за рекомендацією Національного координаційного центру кібербезпеки :

- обов’язкова двофакторна авторизація та скасування синхронізації контактів. Також необхідно блокувати доступ до комп’ютера, якщо залишаєте його без нагляду, аби сторонні особи не змогли отримати доступ до вашого акаунту;

- заборона передачі даних, які використовуються в роботі та службова комунікація в Telegram;

- заборона встановлювати і користуватися клієнтом Telegram на службових комп’ютерах або особистих комп’ютерах, які використовуються в службовій діяльності;

-блокування роботи месенджера відбувається за допомогою технічних та програмних засобів, проводиться фіксування запитів на несанкціоновані спроби підключення до сервісу;
