У Словаччині у суботу проходить голосування на виборах нового складу однопалатної Національної ради (парламенту).

Згідно з останніми опитуваннями, до парламенту мали би пройти сім партій. Лідером перегонів є правляча партія SMER на чолі із прем’єр-міністром Робертом Фіцо.

Однак, головна інтрига виборів в тому, чи матиме вона абсолютну більшість голосів для формування уряду. За останніми соцопитуваннями партія Фіцо в майбутньому парламенті має отримати 58 місць зі 150.

Зі своїм потенційним союзником по коаліції, націоналістичною партією СНП, може мати 77 місць, тоді як зараз вона має 83 місця.

Згідно з прогнозами, активність виборців на виборах буде невисокою. У голосуванні, як очікується, візьме участь близько половини із 4,4 млн виборців, які мають право голоса.
