Одного з лідерів опозиційної партії Венесуели "Демократична дія" Луїса Діаса розстріляли під час зустрічі з виборцями напередодні виборів.

Про це повідомляє Укрінформ із посиланням на Reuters. 

«Збройні нападники на автомобілі розстріляли Луїса Мануеля Діаса, главу партії «Демократична дія» у місті Альтаграсія-де-Орітуко що в центральній частині Венесуели, в той час як він проводив зустрічі з місцевими жителями», - йдеться у повідомленні.

У момент нападу на сцені з Діасом перебувала Ліліан Тінторі, дружини найвідомішого ув'язненого лідера опозиції Венесуели Леопольдо Лопеса. Вона не постраждала.

Парламентські вибори у Венесуелі мають відбутися 6 грудня. За даними соцопитувань, опозиція має всі шанси на перемогу, тим самим припинивши 16-річне правління соціалістів.
